Clean basic hotel directly on the canal du Midi and 3 minutes walk from the station and bus stop. Easy access to city center. La Cité 20 minutes walk away.

Grim. Got a real Stanley Kubrick vibe inside - flickering fluorescent lights, creaky floors, creepy statues, etc. Decent pillows though

A boy statue sitting next to the staircase was freaky. We had a good night of sleep there. The ventilation in the bathroom could be improved.

Great location if you don't have a car. Hotel is a bit jaded but rooms are clean. Very convenient for railway station and the canal du midi. Le cite is about 20 minutes walk through the town centre.

The beds were nice and comfortable, room was clean. The breakfast was okay. The people were very nice. The area is a little scary, but the hotel itself was great.

This place is right next to the train station and the canal, a few minutes from the city centre and about half an hour from the citadelle. Add to that nice hosts, decent sized rooms, free WiFi, good breakfast and low prices and you have a winner!
PS. Some might call the interior dated, but I call it absolutely charming.

Very convenient location opposite the train station. Good service and prices (worth checking directly with the hotel, because they were cheaper direct than on some big websites). They speak for English. Rooms are a little dated.

It's not a bad place but it's fairly basic.
I agree with the reviews about it being very dated but on the plus side it's in a great location and the staff were are very friendly, helpful and accommodating
