Bien placé dans le centre, c'est un beau palais particulier avec du cachet. Dès qu'on rentre , on est importuné par une désagréable odeur de cigarette.
La chambre était minuscule, sombre et la fenêtre donnait sur un mur. Le mobilier et l'installation électrique étaient vétustes. La clim était en panne.
La salle-de-bain a été bien rénovée et elle est grande, mais pour 2 personnes il n'y avait que 2 serviettes pour la douche et pas pour les mains, et 2 petits sachets de gel-douche. La poubelle était salle et rouillée.
Cher pour ce que c'est!

We and all the other guests we talked to complained of all the bug bites we had while out and about during the day. Only after we went back home to the US did I Google the Hotel de Blauvac and found nothing but stories of bed bug infestations.

Very difficult hotel to find and drive to door for baggage drop off. Rooms are very small and smell mouldy and had to ask staff to turn on a/c at front desk. Bed was uncomfortable. Eat breakfast elsewhere. Though bathrooms seem new they are too small and were not planned well in terms of keeping shower water inside the tub. Guests should know upfront that they have to drag their luggage up lots of stairs.

En plein centre. Rue relativement calme le soir. Service impeccable. Le petit déjeuner et fort basique mais suffisant.

Try another hotel.

BED BUGS!!! The Hotel de Blauvac was very conveniently located in the centre ville, but stepping into the lobby, the smell of mildew, and a dank inside should immediately send off all kinds of warning signals. Heed your instincts and head for the door - our room had bed bugs, and they were ferocious. And the walls are VERY thin, as we heard a couple making love next door ALL NIGHT... Terrible room. Don't let the new-looking bathrooms fool you! Spend another 20 euros on a quality hotel...
