One other important reason is that the lady at the reception could not understand simplest english. She gave me the wrong key. I had to "spell" my room number in french. She then did not even ask for my name to check back if I got the correct room.
I'm not sure if this is "normal" but I would be worried about my personal belongings when staying at this place.

Ideal location right next to the place de ma Comédie. Average hotel at best. Service is good and friendly. Rooms are standard, if you don't mind the small mold patches on the ceiling, spider webs and smelly corridors.. Breakfast offered a good selection: baguette, croissant and pain ai chocolat.

I stayed two nights at this location. I can't recommend it for several reasons but the main reason is described in the following:

I think this is a highly unprofessional manner. I do not recommend this location.

Good central budget hotel. Nice room. Small bathroom, but what do you want to do? Nice brekkie. Will stay again

The manager wrongfully accused me of stealing a set of towels. He even charged me 30€ BEFORE consulting me to resolve this obvious misunderstanding.
The explanation would have been that after the first night the towels were taken away by the cleaning staff and no fresh towels were placed in my room.
I only realized that on the next morning and since I was running late I used my own towel and forgot to inform the staff about the missing towels.

Nice and clean hotel, but very small rooms, and the bathroom has a sliding door, and little privacy! The location is just amazing, in the Center on the city, but you can't reach by car as the street is closed. There's a parking just steps away and the hotel gives a special price.

Chambre propre et spacieuse. Hôtel très bien situé avec tout ce qu'il faut sur la place de la comédie. Bon accueil.
