Beautiful spot in middle of Besancon, France. The rooms are spacious and beautiful decor.

I chose this hotel for my visit to Besancon based on the review by the previous German visitor and I wasn't disappointed. The hotel is well situated in the heart of the city and handy to most of the major attractions within walking distance.
The hotel description is accurate, though a slight distraction on the first floor passage may give a wrong impression due to a flooding accident that has stained the carpet.
I have nothing but praise for the help I had from the receptionist's recommendations for restaurants which made for enjoyable evening dining.
For anyone attending an event at the Micropolis Exhibition Center the Tram is but a 5 min walk from the hotel.
If I have the opportunity to return to Besancon this is the place I'll stay.
The map I feel is incorrect and should actually show the entrance from Rue des Granges as the entrance from Rue de la Republique is for cars and not easy to spot on Google street view.

Was there for a professional event, and was very much pleased! The staff was very correct and I had a very decent experience in Hotêl de Paris!

Loved this hotel in the old city. Rooms are not very big but they are renovated and clean.
The breakfast is wonderful with many options encluding eggs and bacon. Also provided a coffee / hot chocolate machine and a Nesspreso machine. Wifi was a bit slow but good enough for mails and stuff.
If you travel to or through Becenson and looking for a good hotel in the old city this one is highly recommended!
