Nice and cozy hotel, close to Eiffel Tower and in a street with plenty of parking spaces. The room is small, but perfect for a couple on a trip, there aren't enough space to many suitcases.

Cons: rooms are completely different than their pictures, 2 stars is too much for this hotel. Very NOISY, we can hear the reception from our room. Very tiny. Minimal house keeping. Have to leave key when leaving.

The staff is friendly and the rates reasonable. The rooms are small and cramped like many in Paris. The biggest issue I had was the horrible Wi-Fi and that the TV was only fully functional in one of the two rooms we had. If you're looking to do Paris on a budget and are not concerned with a lot of amenities, this is not a bad place to stay. It is close to the metro and Seine as well as the Eiffel Tower and there is a sushi place around the corner that is as good or better than any I have been to in the US.

Reading the previous reviews online I felt it was a bit of a gamble, but I was right to assume that the not so pleasant reviews were from Americans who've never been overseas or from people who are never happy no matter what. If someone wants something close to what they are used to in the states they should be prepared to spend 200€/night or more. The buildings in central Paris are old.... The location is excellent. There is a nearby grocery store open until 2am (1.5L of water is only 0€60) and is very close to the Eiffel Tower and the metro stations. The room itself is pleasant. Plenty of outlets to charge things. Tile in the bathroom was nice. Hotel has free Wi-Fi.

Pros: location is great and easily accessible. Rooms are OK of you're looking for something very basic. The price is basically for the location. Staff is good.

Staying at the Hôtel France Eiffel as a first time visitor to Paris is exactly what you need it to be. The rooms are of an adequate size, and when you use them as a base for your city exploration, that's all you need them to be. The hotel is close to amenities; shops, cafés, eateries, and the metro, which allows it to be a convenient place to stay. The boasted view of the Eiffel Tower is something which has been slightly exaggerated as all that's really visible is a slight view of the illuminations and the strobe beam in the evening. The service is simple, and non-intrusive even when your room is straightened and your bed is made for you during your time away from the hotel. The shower facilities and bathroom are cleaned to an appropriate standard, although the toiletries appear as though they have been waiting on the side for longer than you have booked your stay. Overall, the Hôtel France Eiffel is a pleasurable stay; a quiet port in a busy city that allows a jumping-off point into Paris, whilst providing the minimum, and arguably appropriate, requirement for a hotel room.

I loved this hotel I'm happy i picked this place. the room was small but expected and we weren't in the room much anyway the Eiffel tower was a 10 min walk which was even better. the beds were soft and comfy! the walls were thin but it didn't bother me much. We didn't drive so we took a taxi from the airport to the hotel which was 55euro but during check out the hotel provides a shuttle to take you from the hotel to the airport for a cheaper price than a taxi which was awesome. Everything was great the only problem I had was during checkout we were told we could pay the city tax on card but during the checkout we were told we couldn't use card so we had to rush to the atm.

Stayed there for 2 nights with my husband. Overall the experience was not good at all. First of all the room was very small (barely had space to walk and for the luggages), booked a double room as a normal couple and found out they just put 2 singles bed attached (I was about to fall couple of times while sleeping lol). Also we had breakfast included which is from 7.30am-10.30am but is very limited plus if you go late like 10am you probably won't find anything. Another thing is the Wifi, very slow and most of the times doesn't even work as well as the ventilation in the toilet wasn't working.
The thing is that if you need a place where to just spend the nights then it's more than ok, mattresses are comfortable though, toilets clean plus the location is very good as it's close to stations and also walking distance from Eiffel tower.

Basic amenities, small kettle in the room which doesn't work very well and smells horrible ... Have to pay for using the minibar and extra for breakfast. Our bed is two single beds pushed together which isn't ideal. Staff are friendly and speak English well. Close to the Eiffel Tower and there's a shop just down the road (less than 10 minutes away)

Stayed here two years ago just for four nights. The only good thing about the Hotel France Eiffel is the location! Very convenient to many attractions, the Eiffel Tower, endless cafe's and restaurants, the Seine River and transit. The room was really small and cramped, adequate bathroom, wifi was non-accessible, really hot a stuffy and the front desk only provided us with with a small fan, but the beds were actually comfortable. The windows did not even close all the way and had no locks, and kept opening during the night, and being just one level up from the front street it was rather creepy. One night there was three huge explosions right out on the front street, the walls and windows all shook, and no one from the front desk informed us what was going on! We figured it must have been parties with leftover fireworks from the recent Bastille Day! We found the Manager to be very rude at times, and he was not helpful when asked questions. But the lady at the desk was very nice and pleasant. Our travel agent asked the hotel staff to get us a bottle of wine and put it in our room for when we arrived! What we got was a jar of rose jam right as we were checking out!! Seriously!? Our agent paid them $50.00 out of her own pocket for a nice bottle of wine, so they took her money and bought a jar of jam and gave it to us literally at the last second!! First and only time we will even stay there!
