Restaurant.Very good food in beautiful surroundings. Very attentive multilingual staff. Expect to pay between 50 to 100 euro per head. During summer season they do a special Wednesday lunch menu at reasonable price for market day.

Excellent accueil et grande disponibilité de tout le personnel. Chambres très agréables. Pour le repas je recommande le lièvre à la royale farci aux truffes et au foie gras. Sans oublié un moment près de la grande cheminée dans un des salons avec un armagnac hors d'âge. Un très bon week-end de fin Septembre !!!

Un service minable. Cuisine trop chère sortie avec un envie de compléter le repas chez Mac Do. Chambres meubles avec des meuble Habitat. On se demande pour qu'à ce un Relais & Château? Direction non avenant avec la clientèle et la garde-robe du Directeur fait penser à un Garde Chasse avec Bretelles et chemise à Careau. Rien à voir avec les standards de Relais & Château. Si le nom Geurard est une référence ce uniquement pour les Thermes de Eugenie les Bains.

We had a relaxing stay at La Bastide. The hotel is part of a larger more medically focused complex where people come to enjoy the benefits of the natural thermal waters. The hotel is separate however and that shouldn't put you off. Large comfortable rooms with huge bathrooms. A lovely fireplace to sit and enjoy a post dinner drink. A nice outdoor pool with bed around and a lovely restaurant. What's not to like? We didn't have breakfast at the hotel as it was expensive at €26 per person. There are shops and cafes 5 mins walk on the Main Street of the village. We bought a bag of mixed croissants for a couple of Euro from the local Boulangerie which did us for breakfast and lunch. The little cafe at the very start of the village does nice coffee and croissant for a couple of Euro also. Lovely hotel. Definitely worth a visit. Rooms were good value compared to our Relais & Chateau hotels in the area. The only slight disappointment was that the spa area open to hotel guests is very small with a steam room and large jacuzzi only. There are some treatment rooms. Outdoor pool is good though. €€€
