This was one of mine and my friends' first stops in Bordeaux on vacation as students, and it was really excellent. The staff was very hospitable and genuine. Our lovely waitress talked to us for 10 minutes and gave us good advice for wine and our trip.

Great wine bar across from the Tourist Information Centre in Bordeaux. You can order a tasting selection of half glasses from thier wine menu. Tasty cheese platters also available. Beautiful setting and ambiance. Great service.

Fantastic wine bar in the heart of the city where you can sample all the sub regions of Bordeaux by the glass for decent prices. The also serve nice bar food to enjoy with your wine

Great place to try local wine at an exceptional price. Food to match with wines is also very good. Worth the wait in line.

The decor was also unique and pleasant. The atmosphere was overall very enjoyable. I highly recommend this bar.

This place looks like a wine temple with a "wine Jesus" on their stained glass windows. Great list by glass, spacious and comfy seating. Good for an afternoon digestive.

The wine was all some of the best we'd had, and we each tried a white, red (and one or two more). And my friend tried a rosé. All were excellent and well worth the good prices.

Le Bar a Vin.
We have returned to a favorite stop in Bordeaux. Excellent place to taste some of best wines around Bordeaux.
This is actually a wine school & meeting place but the tasting rooms are open to all.
Great ambiance, service & prices for top notch wine

Beautiful wine bar with extensive wine menu ranging from €2 to €8 per glass and from different Bordeaux wine regions. You can ask the staff for recommendations, but they will always recommend the expensive stuff, so talk to them about all of the wines if you're on more of a budget. You can order half glasses if you'd like to try a lot of the wines. The meat and cheese platters are a reasonable size for the €10 price. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the decor is lovely. The stained glass windows are very interesting.
