I've never been more deceived by exterior and interior looks. It looks old. Dated.
And then the people happened.
The kindness, humor, service and dedication to make the guests comfortable.
Being Dutch the menu needed some translating. They are not the best English speaking people, but they make absolutely clear that you know what you're ordering.
And then the food: Oh.... my.... God.....
That is absolutely delicious.
Cooked to perfection. Great flavours. Amazing cuisine.
When it was time for desert, it was way past closing time (our first evening in Troo and the trip took way longer then expected. )
But they wouldn't let us leave because of that! If we wanted desert, we would get desert.
I'm glad we did. That chocolate.....
If you are in the neighborhood and you want to eat amazingly good food, do not hesitate!!! Don't even think about going somewhere else! (The next day, maybe... :-D )
This is a little piece of heaven, tucked away in a beautiful small town.

Un restaurant remarquable
Je connais l'établissement depuis des années et la même chaleur et la même qualité dans l'assiette et dans le service et les attentions.

Bon restaurant mais une atmosphère trop vieillotte. Même si le restaurant tient à garder cette ambiance "royale", il serait quand même temps de rafraîchir tout cela..
