There can be few more satisfying experiences than dinner on a warm summer evening at Le Grand Cafe. The endless comings and goings on the Place Drouet d'Erlon are like some huge and impromptu theatre performance. All human life is truly there. Sat beside some ornamental box hedging full of chirping sparrows you can turn your mind to an extensive menu which offers the very real possibility of overdosing on excellent seafood. On each occasion we have been here the other diners have been charming, the staff attentive and entertaining and the huge glass of ice cream floating in Poire William at the end of the meal totally irresistible.

Je n'y vais que pour les moules frites qui ont toujours été bien préparées en ce qui me concerne. Les burgers sont pas mal. J'ai juste goûté les pâtes à la saltimbanque.
Le service est bien sauf quand on est un groupe de filles qui rigole (les serveurs nous ont vraiment pris pour leur pote, un peu trop de familiarité ras les pâquerettes...)
