One of the few 5 stars hotels where you actually get a 5 stars level staff and experience.
Close to the lighthouse and on top of a cliff it gives an amazing view and light up to late nights.
The staff from day 1 and from the doorman up to to the concierge and floor staff every single one of them has been helpful, caring, professional and smiling. Special remarks for Lucia, Alain, Adrien and Emmanuel. They're help and assistance made my wife and mine experience a truly stress-free and memorable one.
This hotel is a 5 stars as well another one closer to the centre but not as charming. Especially interior design wise.
A place to go back.

Lovely atmosphere and beautiful fixtures and fittings. Rooms as normal in a French hotel a little on the small side. Lots of staff but not intrusive. Great location a little out of town.

Reservamos este hotel para poner final de oro á nuestro viaje de aniversario por la costa vasca... Entre spa y 5 estrellas esperamos lo mejor.. llegamos y el spa estaba cerrado cosa que no lo ponía la web (son solo las 18:00) a esperar la mañana siguiente.... donde resulta que hacen mantenimiento anual y estará cerrado.... mala suerte? Mala información? Si nos hubiera informado cambiaríamos la reserva para el otro sofitel! Ahora resulta que Si deseamos ir al otro sofitel al spa tenemos que pagar extra! Si está pensando en este hotel para descansar e ir al spa.. Este no es su hotel!

We arrived as a party of 5 to enjoy a long weekend of pampering.
The hotel is well situated between the town of Biarritz and the beaches at Anglet. The rooms are well appointed and the outdoor pool is lovely. However, the hotel is over priced and lacks the atmosphere and service expected of a 5 star establishment.
The Spa could reception was not always manned and could not accommodated 2 people at the same time, even when it was clear that the top spa package would be booked. The pool was late to open on several occasions, was not set up properly with umbrellas, lounger mattresses or towels, leaving patrons to arrange for themselves. The drinks were excessively expensive.
Whilst friendly enough, and a comfortable stay, I wouldn't choose this hotel again.

Supposedly a 5 star hotel but far from it. No food service of any kind after 10:30 pm. No evening turn down nor change of towels. No drawers at all in the tiny closet. Breakfast buffet is limited.

Everything about this hotel is excellent, the staff, the rooms, the lobby, the bar, the food! Don't hesitate to book.
