Thoroughly enjoyed walking the aisles and sampling the goods at this market. The patisseries were fantastic and the range of fromages is incredible. So much to look at so spend some time there.

Must visit in Lyon! Amazing food! Fresh seafood (especially the freshly shucked oysters), amazing cheese (epoisses) and of course all the bread and croissants... It doesn't get much better that this.

Great activity on a hot Lyon day. There a re a ton of little shops and restaurants in Les Halles, so you can easily visit 3 or 4 times (which I did). My favorite spot was the seafood restaurant in the center and AOC right at the entrance.

Best products in town, some of which can be eaten directly in the shop. Must see for tourists visiting Lyon.

What a fun place to spend time and taste some amazing food or sit down for a meal! The time to go is a Sunday morning. The market offers vendor with cheeses, meats, fresh seafood, desserts, breads and plenty more. There is something for everyone here. I highly recommending making this a part of your trip to Lyon.

It has always been my favourite place in Lyon, enven when I lived there! I always found something interesting to see or to taste there... :) You have to try everything! It's a must!

We had a guided tour of this food palace. It is the most modern market we've ever been to. Similar to the concept of Oscar Farinetti's Eataly empire. Dedicated to Paul Bocuse, the vendors are all top grade.

Great choice of fresh and prepared high quality food on offer.
Worth a visit if you are a foodie!
Needs a proper cafe and more opportunity to eat on the premises.

Don't let the (nondescript glass) exterior architecture fool you -- this building houses a great array of local French and Lyonnaise food stalls and eateries ranging from fresh produce, bakeries, patisseries, fromageries, boucheries, charcuteries, seafood, cafes. You'll absolutely find something to satisfy your taste buds!

Nice market. Remains strange that some shops closes during lunch times while others need to be open for a food market. But nice shops and for all something to find. In the food capital of France I expected a bit more so 4 in stead of 5 stars.

Great places to take french local food and to eat whatever you like. Definitely worth the ride by taxi even of you only have one day stay. Go over there and but cheese and saucisonn
