During my stay I witnessed something very special. I heard cowbells and as I looked up I saw a whole herd of them passing by the hotel. They were led by a farmer and his dog, who do this four times a day. It was really fun to experience.

Wir haben dort schon zweimal übernachtet. Das Hotel ist ein wenig abgelegen, aber die Zimmer sind charmant, das Frühstück ist für französische Verhältnisse gigantisch und das Lokal im Haus kocht auf Pariser Niveau. Morgens wird man (nicht allzu früh) von den Glocken der Kühe geweckt, die durchs Dorf getrieben werden. Entspannung pur und ein wunderbarer Rastplatz für Touren ins Umland, z.B. nach Besançon.

This is a very nice hotel/restaurant, located in a small peaceful village. The village and environment are very picturesque. Perfect for people looking for a quiet stay in the alps. Although the church is right across the street and the clock strikes every hour between 5 am and midnight.

The hotel staff is very hospitable and the food is fantastic. Their winebook is as thick as a bible. In the summer you can eat on the terrace in front of the hotel. The room was clean and cosy, equipped with a mini fridge and tea making facilities. The beds were nice and comfortable as well.
