It's a shop that sells things. Overpriced things, but things. Can find most of the things elsewhere cheaper, and as this place has weird opening hours, more convenient to just head to the Place du Marche.

+ the largest supermarket in Versailles
+ has quite good cooked food and cheese counter
+ best fresh vegetable section in Versailles, but that doesn't mean it's good
- always busy after 17:00. Never enough staff on the tills.
- overpriced food. EXTREMELY overpriced clothing.
- poorly set up. If you go downstairs from the non-food, to the food area, they wont let you go back up without paying, meaning it's essentially two separate stores
- frequently refuses entry way earlier than is necessary, so it's closing times are very inaccurate.

Ce matin j'ai rencontré un problème assez inadmissible . J'ai présenté un billet de 50 EUROS à la caisse pour payer mes achats. La caissière s'est emparé de ce billet avec suspicion, elle a appelé d'autres caissières pour avoir leur avis, ce billet venait de ma banque le matin même, je me suis retrouvé en tête d'une longue file de clients furieux. Cette situation m'a humilié. Je déplore ce procédé qui met le client en difficulté. Il serait souhaitable que ce magasin soit pourvu d'un système de détection de fausse monnaie, discret et plus fiable.
Client depuis les années 1960 dans ce magasin que j'apprécie, c'est une première que je n'apprécie pas.

Nice Monoprix really close to Versailles Palace. You can get already made sandwiches and baguettes and just eat them on the go or inside the Versailles garden if you want to save time and money since, inside the Castle, don't expect to find Food Halls or anything even standard price (only expensive place where you can eat).

Has wide variety of items and food. Cheap and convenient.
