Tasty, well cooked food but overpriced and incredibly small portions. Even after making a reservation we were seated in what felt like the lobby of the building under very bright lights. Everything seemed to come with asparagus, and I was disappointed by the limited choice of dishes. Friendly service was rather undermined by the bizarre setting and a lingering hunger after the meal. Make the most of the free bread, as despite being quite stale it was replenished frequently and made up the bulk of my dinner. Would not recommend...

Great food. Good service. They don't speak much English, so make sure you remember that Rognons are kidneys, then you won't be surprised.

Perfect meal, friendly and attentive staff. Were very understanding of our dreadful french, even provided the daily menu in English. Will visit again on our next trip.

Fantastic! Excellent menu and at a good price in a charming building. Very welcoming and accommodating staff. They were happy to find us a table at 19h for a quick service before the cinema without a reservation.

On était trois, on a commandé tous le menu du jour. D'abord, c'est écrit "maki de tourteau", maki de tourteau avec un jus de fruits de mer. On les reçois, c'était en fait des makis au quinoa, on en a même disséqué, aucun signe de tourteau. Ensuite, un plat poisson+légumes. On le reçois, il y a quelques bouts de carotte et sinon du riz. On avait commandé ce plat justement pour éviter les féculents et avoir des légumes. Bon ... on passe au dessert, un air d'opéra et un sablé poire et chocolat, tous les deux très bons. Le serveur était sympa et il nous a conseillé un bon vin, il faut le dire aussi. On est partis déçus, plus de 130 balles pour 3 entrées bof, 3 plats bof, une bouteille de vin et 3 desserts.

A great way to end our stay in Lille. This restaurant is superb. We were very lucky to get the last table for two (we hadn't booked - recommend that you do!). The food was amazing. Great wines. Our waitress didn't speak very good English but she tried really hard to understand us with our very basic French. I will come back if I'm in Lille again.

A really good evening, nice atmosphere, good wait staff. Fresh food. Big portions.

Reservations are advised though, especially for the upstairs with the fantastic views over the square. Servings are packed with flavour and not heavy like a lot of the local Flemish cuisine.
