Good variety on the menu, but we came in as a large group of 21 and the staff didn't have the training or capacity to deal with us. Some had only just finished starters whilst others were eating dessert. Waited a long time to get plates cleared away and the waiters were very stressed. Food had clearly been left under the hot lamp before serving, and in one case raw salmon came out. Not recommended for groups.

Delicious food, excellent service, as walk-ins on Easter Saturday night. Will definitely visit again when we are next in Avignon.

A little apprehensive, given some of the other reviews, over the wait for the food to arrive and the quality of the dishes, but were pleasantly surprised over the near immediate service and very rapid delivery of our choices. My Lamb Tagine was succulent and bursting with flavour, and the cous cous light, fluffy and buttery. My wife's Riviera Salad was fresh, perfectly dressed, served with tapanade on grilled crusty bread and seared tuna. Really tasty. Friendly service too. Glad we came.

Have been using this hotel for 8 or 9 years now. You will learn which rooms to ask for as you stay. The staff are lovely and the location is superb for discovering Avignon . There are much more luxurious hotels but sometimes just a nice friendly place is all you want. This is it. Gordon

We don't have spectation but at the end the service and food was fine. We enjoy the view to the carousel and people walking by. Our waiter was very kind and friendly

Slow service - 50 minutes to get our food, surly waiter, wrong order (for 1 of the meals) and terrible food. For a burger and steak we paid €46.

A tourist trap for sure.

Nice location for outdoor dining, on a busy pedestrian square. Food and service is ok. Closes a little earlier than other local restaurants.

Really good food, service was also good since we were there when it was practically empty. Our server didn't speak English but it worked okay. The ratatouille, risotto, and fish were all fantastic, and the bread was freshly baked. Amazing view of the square.

Came here on a local recommendation but it was the worst meal we've had in Avignon.
