I love to run in this park. It has a botanical garden, a zoo, and even a lake. Just great!

I have traveled Lyon for two times and I spent my whole day here everytime. I think Parc de la Tête d'Or is most sightseeing place in Lyon. And then church on top of Lyon city is significantly beautiful as well.

I have been in Paris, Lyon, Montpellier and Marseille. I think all of them are similar much or less. But every of them has its own beautiful parts. And these two I have mentioned were best parts of Lyon.

If you are a tourist then you must visit this amazing and unique park. There are so many things to see and do there that you will never get bored. The zoo has a lot of different animals species and it's free! The lake is gigantic and has birds and also other species like ducks, flamingos etc. Also, there is a big beautiful garden with lots of lovely flowers! I definately recommend this place.

I think best time to visit here is on weekends because there will be less crowd and more silence :).

This is one of my favorite spots in Lyon. If you are in France visit. Free zoo & huge botanical garden. Lots of space for kids to roam about & play. The rose garden is lovely & just the entire place is so well taken care of. Just an amazing urban park.

Another positive side is you can come here with your family for picnic. Very green, very huge and very silent place for meetings with close friends as well.

Nice park with a free zoo and a big botanical garden!! The park by itself is cool, really big, so much grass, trees, green everywhere. There's also several glass houses which form the botanical garden. There you can find many kinds of plants, from cactae to jungle trees. There is also a zoo close to the bottom of the park, you just walk over there and suddenly animals start to show up.

You can easily be here for whole day. Zoopark will be very interesting for your children and you as well. Giant crocodile, lemurs, red panda and bulls are my favorite ones :).

Worth it :)

One of my favorite places in France. Free, massive park with a decent zoo for the kids. The giraffes come out later, so come closer to the afternoon if your kids want to see them! Also, there's a giant greenhouse complex for those interested. For adults, there's a nice little cafe on the lake where you can get a coffee or a glass of wine. Highly recommended - you could spend a whole day in here if you wanted.

I would suggest you to come here by renting a bicycle because this place is so huge that you can't discover all the beautiful and interesting parts of this place by walking. Riding bicycle or jogging is perfect here.

Great Park. It has a botanical garden and a free Zoo (on which I have mixed feelings). On the big lake you can do kayak or rent a boat. Great place to run, catch some air or lay down and read a book.

Parking is a problem here but you can find a place around 5-10 minutes away depending on your chance and crowd.

This park is huge and very well maintained. I only wish the bathrooms weren't always so dirty.

A nice place to spend several hours.

I love this park for all it has to offer. Kids and family friendly but also great for a relaxing walk. A good botanical variety as well as a small zoo.

Beautiful and big park with free zoo and botanical garden inside. World class location. Very nice for jogging, taking a walk, or even just hanging out with friends and family. Very suitable for children.

A very huge grand parc. Generally not crowded (except the weekends or holidays), it serves to be the best place for activities like jogging, running or working out.
There is a botanical garden and also a zoo. This place is really amazing for spending time with your loved ones or for a picnic if you wish! Also there is a lake and nice chairs to rest nearby.
