CONS:
- the "kitchens" are pathetic. A microwave, a sink and 3 heatings plates.No oven and no proper stove. There's no utensils or even a garbage can to throw away your trash. On top of that, there's always a part of the kitchen that's clogged, broken or nonfunctional.

- The so-called lounges. My group just used the cafeteria area because the lounges were laughable. You have to give your room key to the reception to gain access to the downstairs lounges. The tvs are small and so high up you strain your neck watching them and there's only a few, worn, old chairs to sit on.

To sum up, I would not recommend to anyone to stay here. It's an international residence and they can't even have proper internet.

Chambre pour étudiants étrangers ou pas.
Les gens à l'accueil sont sympas mais le service administratif est très désagréable, ceux-ci ne parle pas Anglais et ne réponde pas au e-mails.

Petite résidence tout ce qu'il y a de plus normal. Ce n'est ni très confortable ni très beau ni très chaleureux, mais tout à fait suffisant pour résider quelques temps pendant ses études à Dijon.

- The kitchens and main floor bathrooms are closed from 10pm - 6am

PROS:
- Close to a delicious bakery as well as Lidl

I stayed here on a student exchange through my canadian university. I've stayed in residence before and this one is god awful.

- Vending machines are cheap and serve a nice selection of food or drinks

Ayant vécu 2 ans dans la résidence internationale d'étudiant à Dijon, je peux dire que la résidence est calme, il y a un accès facile aux facultés, que ce soit en bus ou en tram. Le prix est tout a fait correct pour les studios étant donné que tout est compris. Il l'est un peu moins pour une chambre je trouve. Je n'ai jamais eu de problème avec la connexion internet. Mes voisins étaient sympathiques. C'est une résidence que je recommande pour les étudiants, elle n'est pas très connue mais mérite le détour.

- Lastly, the food. The cafeteria has a full kitchen that IS NOT in use because "it would cost too much to buy the proper equipment". France has a lot of rules regarding food which is fine, but why build a cafeteria with a kitchen that can't be used in the first place? You might be asking... how does the caf obtain hot food then? The food is cooked somewhere else and driven over. It's gross. I hate to bash the cafeteria because the staff is so nice but the food is just awful.

- THE INTERNET. There basically isn't any. Seriously. You can't skype or video chat in ANY way. There's no wifi, none. Zip. Not even for your phone. Furthermore, the internet is a cable that hooks to your computer and is "shared" with everyone on your floor. Translation? The more people on the internet, the slower it gets. For the whole 4 months I was living here I could not properly load any sort of youtube video.

- Cafeteria Staff is absolutely amazing, lovely people

Si tienes q pasar algún tiempo en dijon, NO VENGAS AQUÍ BAJO NINGÚN CONCEPTO. Habitación sucia, baño sucio, ducha sin agua caliente la mayoría de los días. Cuando lo decías en recepción, t decían q debía ser porque había mucha gente y ninguna solución. El personal de recepción, en particular el del del fin de semana y la señora de la mañana, maleducados e ineficaces. La ducha no drenaba bien, se inundaba el baño y tardaron cinco días en arreglarlo. No querían dejarme pagar con tarjeta ni hacerme una factura. Residencia muy ruidosa. Cocinas comunes para cada piso siempre sucias y siempre había algo q no funcionaba. No he conocido residencia de estudiantes peor ni personal más maleducado e incompetente.

Un endroit assez calme. On peut y rencontrer beacoup d'étudiants étrangers. À deux pas d'un arrêt de bus (Bouteiller) et d'une station de métro (Grésilles). Le stade est juste à côté.

The structure is great, except that the kitchens are never working and the staff is composed of real assholes! The director in primis! They will do whatever they can to keep your deposit or take you as much money as possible. Take a private lodging on your own, you're gonna spend a half (200€ if you share a flat with two other friends) and won't have to deal with these people.

Pour le mois de résidence sur le campus de retour en 2011 nous avons payé 350 euros, mais ce ne fut pas même le wi-fi dans les chambres, l'utilisation gratuite de l'eau dans la salle de bain microscopique (il était nécessaire d'avoir le temps de se laver une demi-minute afin d'économiser l'eau), chiffons et serpillières pour nettoyer le sol, d'une bouilloire électrique ou tout autre ustensile dans la cuisine! Maintenant, je l'espère, la situation a changé pour le mieux.
