Incredibly rude staff. Inefficient cashiers with a disinterested and apathetic attitude towards even a modicum of customer service. Go elsewhere for your groceries.

The main supermarket in Chamonix. SuperU is very well stocked and has a great resident butcher and fish monger.
good dink and wine selection and a more general non food shop downstairs

Quite cramped especially during tourist season, but you can find all you need in the two floors of this convenience store.

I was inside the supermarket at 20:10, at 20:30 the security a cashier and another supermarket staff forced me to leave my basket on the floor with my grocery because the supermarket closes at 20:30. By force I mean yelled. I have never ever seen this in my life before. They have no customer service skills. So basically after 20min I was in the supermaket I had to leave everything on the floor and go home empty hands, while they let the other french customers finish their shopping and pay their grocery. Discusting!!!!!!!

The car park closes at 20:00. I paid at 20:01,(yes, after it is supposedly closed and I still have the receipt) gave them my parking ticket, so I wasn't charged for it and no one mentioned the car park would be locked. The barriers were chained-as if someone will run through the barrier, but would be stopped by a chain?!? No phone number to call, nothing written in English or any other language than French. Came back to the shop which was locked as well and was kindly told to piss off and come back tomorrow, because I quote "boss sleep, boss home, no call, boss sleep"...never again will I shop there and I'll make sure none of my friends and relatives do!
