I booked a vacation apartment and paid a deposit with Agence Rex in St Jean de Luz. I do not recommend using his agency as he was unresponsive in replying to emails, sent us down a back alley to pick up wifi signal from a hotel to pay the balance online, left us with our children hanging around for hours before giving us the keys and did not honour what was agreed via email. We have just returned from a two week trip where we successfully stayed in 4 different locations with the exception of Agence Rex who was totally unprofessional and most unhelpful. (the lady who works there on Saturdays was charming and did everything she could to help a bad situation- merci a vous).
