Don't be fooled into thinking this is a great restaurant, is isn't.
What it does very well is provide a suburb view over the harbour, a good cup of coffee brought out very fast. Then they leave you alone to enjoy. So, if you want good coffee lovely view and somewhere to rest for 20 mins this is excellent. If you want a good meal go to a restaurant not a cafe.

Excellent food at a good price. We ate lunchtime from the daily menu, the home made fish soup was excellent, as was the rest of the meal. Great location, lovely old building.

Terrible service - and in addition try to put extra on bill (fish price 22 EUR - they billed for the same fish 38 EUR . No fish for that price on the menu card - so no excuse. Also they billed for two calvados not ordered - we thought it was on the house after the dinner (dinner for two in total 160 EUR). They pretended not to speak English at all ! The female servant was so unpolite - unbelievable poor service in a tourist city !

A pretty horrible evening. They changed our orders without asking, took forever to serve, and to top if off they were rather unpleasant. The food was variable: some good some not so good. Apparently this restaurant changed owners recently. Unhappily, they are far from having the stature for a restaurant in this price range. I guess they figured they are serving to tourists that they'll never see again. In this respect, they are right!

The snails and shrimps as a starter weren't fresh, and the snails were still slimy and lacked seasoning.
The mussels were overcooked and a lot of them were bad, they were still closed..
The creme brulee was fine.
The service was nice, but that's about it.

Un accueil et un service chaleureux.
Nous avons pris un menu, de l entrée au dessert un rapport qualité prix vraiment impressionnant. Tout était excellent.
Nous vous le recommandons et nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir.
Tout est réuni pour passer un très bon moment.
