The food was amazing. We went back several times. The red berry tart was one of the best things I have ever had in my life.

As for the pastries, deserts and coffee, they were fantastic and I highly recommend them. The take away prices are lower, so if you want to save 2-3 euro per item get it to go.

When they send the bill, I confront them about the 'differential' in price and the shrewd woman said "since you don't let me explain, there is nothing I can do'.

Coca cola was 6.9 and when we wanted to order a strawberry tarte I was surprised that it was only €5.50. However when I said that we wanted to sit inside the lady mentioned a price increase to 8.50!!!!! Ridiculous! Not very friendly and quite annoyed when we only ordered an espresso and two pralinés. If you want a nice French café go somewhere else.

Bad food quality and very over priced. They charged me €3.5 euros for a bottle of water they offered while i was waiting (obviously no one mentioned it's not going to be free).and didn't let me take the bottle with me. So I have a feeling they just refill these bottles with tap water. The baguette was very mediocre - microwaved with lettuce fully cooked (ugh!) and a cold expresso to finish. And for people who say - it's the same everywhere in Paris - I've been here for a week eating out 3 times a day in all different places, and that's the only place that deserves one star!

This is a con shop! Obviously they misrepresent the cost of eating at the store, on purpose! End up it's twice as expensive, although the 'cute' little girl at the cashier says it's the same price eating here.

Take care with breakfast, if you sit, all prices goes up 50%, quality is good, but price is high.

Many reviewers are slamming this place for poor service and "bogus" water charges. The service here was very much standard for Europe (especially Paris). As for the water, typically if you don't specify tap water in Europe you will be brought bottled water, again this is very typical.

As a final note, everyone here speaks great English. You may be able to find better prices and more authentic deserts elsewhere, but you might hit a language barrier. Something to consider!

Obviously it's done on deliberate!! To everyone who is Googling for coffee/food, avoid this shop at all cost!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Delicious desserts. Dinner pretty good. Front staff better than restaurant staff. Tried to buy pastries to go while I was leaving. Waiter pushy about charging me dining room price. Ran out of an entree I ordered, but it took them 15 minutes to tell me. I'd only go back for pastries.

We went in just for coffee and dessert.
I could have a nice meal in some other places for the same money. Cappuccino 8e(what is it made from)??
And desserts are just ok, nothing really special.

I tried their macarons and croissants and enjoyed both of them. The selection of macaron flavors is pretty limited and they're not the best you can find, but the size and price made it a great snack option while out and about.
