I loved this! Found the place in June 2014 and fell in love. Honestly macarons and Laduree seem to be everywhere in Paris these days so this was a nice change. As a fan of small biscuits and marenque I recommend to visit here.

Not for the faint of heart or those with cardiac issues, these Merveilleux are for people who like meringue and sweet things. Which we do. The two we got, coffee and chocolate, were gone in a minute and we were sorry we didn't get a few more.
An added bonus for us was a non-dairy meringue on sale as well as the very pleasant and polite person behind the counter.

They don't have many different kinds of bakeries but the shop and cakes look gorgeous and the price is reasonable

This is unlike anything we have ever tried. My family stopped here on a trip in July 2014 and gave it a try. The macaroons melt in your mouth and leave you wanting more. We also bought a hot chocolate bread. The bread never made it home, it smelled and tasted so good. We ate it within a few blocks while watching groups of men play boule. Definitely wish we had gone back for more.
