A very convenient hotel in the centre of the Chinon but still retaining a quiet atmosphere. The recent refurbishment of the rooms and Breakfast area are very well done.

Although small, our room was neat and had a great view of the square and the chateaux. The staff were very friendly. The decorations around the hotel were lovely and there were some great spaces where you could relax.

Great location in Chinon; while I was really hesitant to stay at a chain -- nonetheless a Best Western -- when there are so many locally-owned and unique places in town -- this was a great find on multiple fronts - value, service, cleanliness, and location. You can go right up to the forteresse de Chinon from almost the front door.

Stayed two nights as part of Inntravel walking tour. Located in center of town. Friendly and helpful staff. Steep stairs to room, old building so no lift. Small room. Recently updated bathroom. Air conditioning was great with temperatures near 90. Great breakfast. Nice to sit on 2nd floor terrace away from the crowds.

Horrible !!! Réservation d'une chambre à 160 € la nuit avec mon conjoint et mon fils de cinq ans à l'arrivée la chambre est très étroite mais je me dis pourquoi pas le ménage n'était pas fait des poils sur la couette, la salle de bain était dans un état à la limite du dégueulasse la bouteille d'Évian était entamée j'ai dû demander à la réception Des explications ils m'ont juste changer la bouteille d'eau pour le ménage ils m'ont dit nous allons le signaler ( j'ai dû aller chercher les lingettes nettoyantes dans la voiture ) résultat des courses un week-end gâché et évidemment 160 € de perdu je vous déconseille fortement cet hôtel au l'hygiene laisse vraiment à désirer.

Wonderfully helpful staff. Hotel of Charm. Excellent breakfast. Well maintained rooms and lobby. Perfect location in the center of town.
