I went there because it's recommended for Breton food and cider. The owner is a strange, quirky man and we had a weird, disjointed discussion: in brief, I wanted cider for myself, waiting for my girlfriend. No, that wasn't possible; I needed to order a full meal. But I pointed out that's it's a café as well and that they do serve drinks. But no, he didn't feel like it apparently, today was dinner only... I thought that was strange, but OK. He suggested I go next door to his cafe cum grocery. They'll serve me a cider. Went there, very improved, smily service. But no, it turns out, still no service without food. So suggested a crepe, they were like "is that it"? I gave up.
Perhaps they need to work on service and expectations?
It's obviously not a busy place. It was 90% empty on a Friday evening.
His cafe had a great book on Breton cooking by him. It was engaging, passionate and drew me in. Gosh he seemed so convivial (in the book).
I'd have bought it too if he wasn't such a grumpy dick in real life.
I'd still go for food. Maybe.

This is a popular place! Make a reservation - we witnessed many disappointments. We had the best ever savoury and sweet crepes washed down by the finest cider. We found the staff busy but helpful and friendly. Don't go if you want a quick meal. Relax - live the life! - it's Paris not NYC

I unfortunately didn't had a reservation but luckily I got a seat at their shop and oh my god. Not like a lot of places in Paris but here it is definitely worth spending. I've tried several crêperies but this one.. really I can't find a word!♥️

This small restaurant presents wonderful Norman and Breton crepes. The daily specials are listed on the board, with the savory crepes being made with buckwheat flour and the sweet using regular flour. There is a nice bar list, including the house cider, served in the traditional small bowls. Definitely make a reservation!. Wonderful taste of Northwest France in Paris.

Extensive selection of sweet and savoury crepes available. The MOST delicious crepes I’ve ever had. Coffee also great. Our waiter was lovely and spoke English whilst I attempted to speak terrible French. This place is a must try. We went just after it opened and got a seat straight away, but as we were leaving it was getting very busy. Price was average for Paris (12-14 Euro per crepe).

Oh my, the crepes were so good here. We shared two savory buckwheat crepes: egg and ham, and cheese, mushroom, and bacon (really good!), and a chocolate dessert crepe. They were only seating people with reservations so we ordered from the take-away counter next door and ate at the park down the street. The shop also sells yogurt, jams, honey, and other crepe making items.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I highly recommended getting both a savory and a sweet crepe! 10/10 will return the next time I am in Paris.

Brilliant crepes. Fantastic atmosphere and ambiance. Probably the best creperie in Paris. The cider goes well with the savoury crepes. For dessert, go for the caramel one. It is simply fantastic! Staff is friendly and toilets are clean.

Fantastic food. They go to a lot of trouble to make it authentic. The first time I've ever had buckwheat crepes, very delicious. Even though my French sucks they were still very helpful.

listen - if you don’t drop by here while in Paris, you’d have not had a complete experience. the crepes are delicious and rich, and the cider accompanied it perfectly. I find myself craving more sometimes. Come early to avoid the line - I saw many leave disappointed that they had to wait for so long.

I was lucky I didn't have to wait! i was here on weekday 16:00 hrs maybe thats why. the crepe was just amazing and price was okay compare to other creperies in Paris. but don't order the coke. its pricey and there is no special about it.

Picture of my yummy vegetarian crepe below. Sorry should have taken more photos :)

One of the best crêpes I tried in the city. However, when there is a pretentious person greeting you, the whole work of kitchen staff is diminished. My choice in neighborhood is Crêperie Suzette just down the road. More down to earth.

Worth the wait! They have a wonderful selection of savory crepes and multiple options for vegetarians! We sat next door to the restaurant in their small shop. It was a delight and our waiter let us sample many shop items during our very short wait for food.

Definitely get a reservation, as this is a tiny space and the walk-ins line is long. The crepes are good and they have homemade soda and beer. My wife didn't like the soda, but I thought that it was fine.

I don't have to address more on the food. Let's talk about service. It's not just the English menu, but the attitude. Half of the food place I visited in Paris has either poor or none service if you don't speak French. Service here is damn good.
