Simple but correct, not a lot of amenities (there is no fridge in the room and the wc is tiny) but it's clean and beds are comfortable, it's worth it for the price

Booking Website of the hotel sets back data you allready filled in. If you don't double check, you book for the very same day instead of your planned travel dates!
Confirmation email is in french however you booked in English. And hotel personnel is not cooperative at all when discussing the problem! I got billed 75 Euro for not being there, because the booking dates got mixed up!
Would never pick Balladin again!

Very good location, just 2 minutes walk from the town centre. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean!

For 60 euro we had double bed room 3 minutes walk from the city center. The staff was very nice and helpful, the room was clean and cozy, totally ok for 2-star hotel. Maybe we were just lucky but we didn't experience any problems mentioned in the other reviews.

We had planned on staying for two nights in August, but it was around 95° F and the room we were staying in had no a/c, no fan, and very little ventilation. The first night was miserable so we canceled the second night. Staff was friendly and helpful and gladly gave us our refund for the second night. Two stars with the heat of august, but probably 3.5 during any other time of the year. Great location!

Great reception ,lovely staff, I will have expected more meat ( charcuterie )maybe on the continental breakfast, the room did have nothing special but still consider a great value for money especially you can't get closer than Colmar centre. No car park is provided... one car park is relatively cheap compared to some other touristic city.

Very well situated and on the cheap side. The reception and stairs need a renovation badly. The rooms have been renovated a few years ago anf are fine. Breakfast is a good deal and delicious in this hotel category.

Good location very near to the centre town. Good service and a small but nice room (le room is just for night not big but neither very small,ther right misure)
