A great educational medieval experience for children. They have a variety of medieval weapons, which they explain. The kids can participate in actually firing some of the weapons (safely). They have crossbows, trebauchets, a siege tower and many more.

We arrived to a pleasant welcome from the lady in the shop and was directed into the main area and greeted by Gautier, our guide. He was very knowledgeable as well as enthusiastic and made a real effort to make our experience enjoyable. He described everything in English, which made it easier for us to understand the workings of the machines. We had the opportunity to operate the machines, which was very entertaining. A fun afternoon in a lovely setting.

Great place for children...and adults! Dress as a knight or princess and test real siege machines with great view on the medieval walled town of Larressingle.

Unbedingt besuchen! Do not miss it...it is fun for the whole family and you will learn a lot with a real touch and feel expérience. we had an hilarious guide à mix of Asterix and Monty Python.. Thank you for this wonderful adventure!

They could improve the sanitary facilities a bit more.

It's a fun place overall, in combination woth the fortified city next to it.

Animation et visite longue trop longue.....le cite est un peu vieux, costumes sales, guide qui connait bien les engins de guerre...mais rien d’exceptionnel!!
Sympas pour les enfants. On reviendra pas :-(
