The stars at night are somewhat mythical unless you see them with your own eyes.

Small but super nice and relaxed camping! New and very clean toilets an showers. Great and helpfull owners. Camping is very suitable for people who want to relax and avoid mass campings.

You can blend you stay to suit you, adventure seekers can take a kayak safari, hike up the trails, wander into the quaint and traditional Ambialet for ice cream after or go further afield and explore Albi. We did some of the above but found everything we needed on foot, waking up on our exceptionally large pitch, swanning around on the Tarn in the kayaks kindly available for use, reading in our hammock (purchased by Daniela from a fair trade company ensuring all who made it receive a salary and benefits) and cooking under the trees.

This campsite is like going to heaven.The toilets and showers I would rate 10 out of 10 and they were kept so clean all the time.Jeff and Daniella were the most lovely people you could wish to meet and I would definitely recommend.

To all travellers, explorers and eco souls this is a place that must be added to your list.

Camp Vallee Du Tarn has a piece of our hearts, making it hard to put into words. We spent 12 days surrounded by stunning wildlife, nature and swimming in the Tarn. Even the showers were an experience, with the glisten of sunshine and treetops coming over the gorgeous wooden doors, you were always within gazing distance of Mother Nature.

We can't leave a review without mentioning the inspiring and welcoming Geoff and Daniela, they have created a haven here and they welcome you into it with open arms. It's a sanctuary for all travellers, to experience a wild camping feel with eco friendly and exceptionally clean facilities. They give off a vibe that's infectious, their love for nature, animals and their community cradles you in so you feel like you have always been a part of this corner of paradise.

If you love to be alone into the nature surrounded by huge trees and a lovely river, that's the perfect place for you!
Daniela and Jeff are absolutely charming and helpfull!
The camping has new sanatories and everything is right on the river bank. You can kayak on the Tarn directly from there.
The amazing Ambialet is a 5min walk from there.
