It's been better. The showers were generally cold, hardly any hot water during our stay, even going at less busy times.

In previous years you used to have a gardener that swept up the fallen leaves on an almost daily, this year we saw him once in 3-weeks. The site looked a little uncared for. Which is a shame as it is lovely.

I appreciate we are in France but the previous entertainment crew spoke a mix of Dutch & English which meant everyone could enjoy the show. We have a basic knowledge of French but we struggled to understand which meant we didn't bother going and drank elsewhere. Again it's a shame as it used to be great to sit in the amphitheater and enjoy a few drinks.

Finally the staff in the shop weren't as nice as those who have been there for the last few years. Rather unfriendly.

On a positive note your reception staff are lovely, helpful and always greet you with a smile.

We still plan to come again next year as we love the place.

Great pitch, close to beautiful beach. Enjoyable visit to a site with great pitches, close to the beautiful beach. The shop is useful, and the sanitary blocks are good.
Don't go for gastronomy, though - we could not find a single decent restaurant with parking, locally!

Wonderful stay at Bois Soleil. From the first email to reception, to arrival day and during our stay, we were met with nothing but happy and helpful staff. The site itself was clean with large pitches. It's a really pretty site and the pool and beach is a massive plus. The location is great, with the bus stop to Royan only a few minutes walk from site. The shop is really well stocked and they cook baguettes all day long, so you don't have to worry about them running out. All in all we had a fantastic stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

La situation de ce camping est exceptionnelle. A deux paf de la plage c'est le top.
Mais à part ça franchement j'ai vu mieux. Pour un 5 étoile tout est payant ou presque. 6h de l'heure pour le tennis. 20 euros la semaine pour un WiFi qui fonctionne mal. ..
Le tir à l'arc est gratuit et c'est super pour Les enfants.
Une équipe d'animation très sympa.
Bref 3 étoiles pour moi.

Styles family holiday. We stayed here for a week. Getting into our pitch was quite tricky as the hedgerows make it quite tight. But we were helped by staff and neighbours alike. There were people who have been coming here for years and years which was good to know. The location is great, right by the beach. The showers were clean, although for the first few days there were issues with hot water (there was none and low pressure) but after 4 days it was sorted. Our 13 yr old son found plenty to do and there were plenty of kids his age. We didn't go to any of the entertainment, although my son did but said it wasn't any good. We didn't use the pool as we spent most of the time on the beach or cycling around exploring. We used their takeaway which was good.
The site could do with having some money spent on it, but we enjoyed our stay and found the campsite very friendly and helpful.

Bien pour l'accès à la plage à 50 m et la qualité des mobil home, petit magasin d'alimentation, sinon piscine bien trop petite et ne correspond pas à un 5* à mon avis.
