This is a great place for cyclists. I don't know why other French campgrounds treat cyclists like dirt but Camp Verger understands cyclists. They actually provide a table and bench with the campsite. (Cyclists don't usually have tables and chairs with them.) Plenty of charging room and outlets for your electrical devices. Shooters that are bigger than a Bron closet. (Really nice actually.) Clean! Free Internet. Reasonable rates. No music. No noise. No pool (sigh...) Very friendly. One of the best campgrounds in my 3 wells of cyclo touring France.

Friendly, warm welcome for us on our bicycles. Good sized pitches and very clean facilities. Good value for money. A great base to explore La Rochelle

Advertised as a "quiet camping site" to attract Green elements and Cyclists I was disturbed by "around the clock noise" from barking dogs in a kennel or asylum a few hundred meters away from the camping site.

Propriétaire chaleureux, très sympathiques, toujours le sourire et généreux. Le camping est charmant, ombragé et fleuri. Les sanitaires sont très propres et la possibilité d'acheter les denrées de première nécessité, les viennoiseries et le pain frais le matin et la présence d'un camion à pizza ou à galettes bretonnes chaque soir dans l'enceinte même du camping le rend réellement parfait.
Je le recommande à tout campeur qui recherche la tranquillité d'un camping chaleureux et humain.

A really funky campsite within easy reach of La Rochelle and Eurovelo 1. The site is welcoming and well run. with lots of green ventures including recycle and reuse section which we thought was good. A Small store on the site and visiting catering most nights. HAs a festival vibe. the only but is the small number of tiles and showers meant a bit of waiting around but it was a great place to stay.

Heerlijke rustige camping met veel fietsers. Mooie plek om La Rochelle vanuit te verkennen. Leuk klein winkeltje en prima sanitair.
