What an utterly fabulous spot for a holiday. The cottage is beautifully set out and we felt at home right away. The interior is very tastefully arranged, and oh that main bed is to die for.The area is so peaceful and tranquil, that you feel all stress floating away in no time at all. The photos do not really do the place justice. There is a lovely courtyard to sit in and replenish your glass from your nearby outhouse fridge. The lack of light pollution allows for a perfect night time show from the stars up in the night sky.
And what can you say about Sarah & Andy the hosts. Nothing is too much bother, they strike the balance perfectly from being engaging and spending the time of day with you, or leaving you well alone if that's what you prefer. They will even volunteer to pick you up from one of the 2 nearby restaurants if you have a few too many. They are such an interesting couple, the only downside is on hearing about the lives they've lead, made me realise what a dull one mine had been. Andy will tell you a few stories about a well know friend of his called Steve, should you be interested..
We actually felt like we were leaving friends behind as we drove away at the end of the week.
