We had a wonderful experience at Chateau D'Isenbourg. The room was well appointed and comfortable. Upon our arrival we found a welcome bottle of Alsatian sparkling wine and our children (4 and almost 6) each received a gift bag with sweets and a teddy bear. Every day of our stay they received a new bag! The hotel is very well located on a hillside among endless vineyards. It is an excellent starting point for the Alsace Route Du Vin and other local attractions. We will come back!

Overall good stay - The hotel sits on top of a small hill, a great location, and the views from the balcony of the bar are gorgeous. Our room was old fashioned, but in a quite charming way, they have used old drapes and furniture, but all very stylish. You can rent bikes for free and the hotel is not far from Colmar (15 minutes by car, max). However, we felt we grossly overpaid, and not only for the room. The spa is disappointing. If you have a small kid that would like to play in the water for a bit, it works fine, but the indoor pool area is worn and it feels not clean, humid and the windows are dirty (otherwise the views with the wine yards outside would be stunning). The same is true for other aspects of the hotel, it feels a bit dated i.e. the shower is old etc. Still, given the location and the decoration, we would have given it a star more, if the price was not so outrageously over the top. Apart from the room, the espresso was more than double the price in other prices as was the wine (we paid less in Michelin Restaurants nearby).

Very nice restaurant. Super Professional and friendly stuff served with high quality meals. I will definitely to have my dinner there again. Thank you. Also price is not expensive at all.

Supurb location! Exellent views, especially room #2 with private serre and terras. The food is not worth the price, buy fresh bread from the bakery and go to one of Frances most beautiful village(s) for dinner.
