loved it. both wine, chateau and the owners are enchanting. this chateau was even on the 50 things to do list of french magazine Le Figaro - and rightly so. this close to wine making you will not get anywhere. we will be back.

Booked this with a tour because it sounded fun. We had a very pleasant hostess (name of marine?) who gave a tour of the estate. The tasting was a big disappointment. Three wines were tasted and very skimpy 1 ounce tastings of each. The white blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Semillion was acidity and dry. Maybe good if one is desperate. The red held promise, but I've had many more bordeauxs much better at lower price point. The sweet desert wine was good- my wife liked it, but not my thing. I'd pass on this place with so many other good ones to go to.

I spent a very nice at the Château de Cérons. I arrived without a reservation for a visit and I ended up making one with the warm-welcoming owner of the vineyard. Very instructive on the secrets of wine-making, the place is definitely enchanting, very authentic, I felt like 200 years back in time. Icing on the cake, the sweet wine produced here is a wonder, usually I find sweet wines too sweet but this one you can drink forever, enjoy the tasting!
