The Château boasts ample parking and plenty of space for the young ones to run around. Close to the substantial village of La Souterraine and the arterial A20, but far enough away from both for it to feel secluded and serene.

Ein sehr schönes Landhaus im englischen Stil. Mit einer wunderschönen alten Treppe und modernen Badezimmern.
In der schönen Umgebung lassen sich außerdem längere Spaziergänge machen und auch das Frühstück ist gut.
Wenn man die Besitzer fragt erzählen sie einem die Geschichte dieses Châteaus, was den Aufenthalt nochmal um einiges interessanter macht.

Our visit this time was for one night, as a stop-over on our way south from Paris. While perfect for such a purpose, I have no doubt that our next visit to Château de Lezat will be for much longer.

We stayed in the "Family Room", which was perfect for our four-person troop. The kids had an adjoining room with two single beds, while my wife and I were well catered for in the larger room + ensuite. The rooms are well appointed and meticulously clean.

Great place, can not wait to come back again in the summer to use the Pool. Hosts were charming a great place to stop and so peaceful.

Accueil parfait : j'ai appelé à 20 h, il restait une chambre, Monsieur m'a aussi cuisiné un repas végétarien excellent (sans préavis)
Cadre superbe, tranquille, tout à fait ce dont j'avais besoin

Un lieu atypique.
Le propriétaire en cuisine est un virtuose.
En plus ils ont accepté mon gros chien.
Excellents souvenirs.

Our welcome was warm and friendly, despite our arriving two hours ahead of schedule. Serge and Sarah provided a brief but thorough history of the Château and its previous owners, which adds to the experience.
