Good food at a nice price close to the station. Inside it is bright with splashes of colour, but overall didn't have some of the character of other restaurants. However unlike most of the neighboring restaurants all with practically the same menu, Chez Fred stood out with a wider variety of different dishes.

A pleasant small place for lunch with outdoor seating in a lane shaded from the hot sun. Good quality food, delicious burger with rosemary potatoes. Good deserts.

Siamo una coppia matura. Siamo capitati in questo ristorante per caso, attratti dall'intimità del cortile interno. La città ad agosto è deserta e i ristoranti turistici sono presi d'assalto quindi c'è molto da aspettare.
Abbiamo fatto un giro nell'attesa di trovare un posto e siamo stati fortunati ad arrivare al Chez Fred. Ambiente molto tranquillo e raffinato, senza bambini maleducati. Hanno accettato senza problemi il nostro cane. Abbiamo aspettato un po' per l'ordinazione ma ne è valsa la pena. Piatti molto delicati e ricercati nonostante abbiamo scelto il menù turistico. Consiglio di scegliere dal menu a la cartè perchè la cucina è ottima. Anche il vino, un rosè, era molto buono e profumato. Da evitare se in compagnia di bambini chiassosi perchè dareste molto fastidio.

Overpriced. Tried terrine salad with fois gras: it is 95% salad and some small cubes of fois gras. Oh, I forgot mashed potato wrapped in some sort of very thin pate. Total disaster for €12. Cassoulet: you should expect nothing interesting for €22 (!) which you will pay. What you will get is a very average cassoulet with a lot of salt. So get prepared to drink water like a camel afterwards. Pichet red wine is reasonable. Deep frozen bread tops up the picture. I had a chance to share my feedback with Chef Fred himself - he basically told me that he has been making cassolulets for a long time and everyone was happy. Eh, I have heard this before when there are no other arguments. NOT RECIMMENDED!!! Bad and expensive.

Good idea the menù formula, fresh food and well presented. Reasonable prize and good food.

Nice atmosphere, harmonic flavours, good quality food with local origin.
