The best mussels bar/restaurant in this conner. Usual customer especially during a summer. Plenty of variety of different marinades. If you are not keen on mussels you have pizzas, steaks and other things. Make sure you RESERVE if not you may not get any place at all. They are busy anytime.

Comportement inadmissible du patron!
Après une réservation pour 9 personnes pour une table spécifique, vue et réservée deux jours a l'avance, le patron l'a donnée a un groupe de 15 (j'imagine plus lucratif). Je cite le patron lors de notre échange: "j'en ai marre des clients", "c'est la fin de la saison je m'en fous", "vous avez qu'a aller voir ailleurs","allez circuler"!
On a donc circuler, et on recommande les Quiperoises ou Chez Bob, on y est beaucoup mieux accueilli et servi!

I eat Moule frittes here every year. View, service and food are unbeatable. Probably the best moule frittes in the whole of France

My wife had made two booking to eat here as it was fantastic on our first visit a year ago. My wife popped back on tonight to confirm the bookings, these hadn't been made, also the man became very insulting as they were busy and she was in the way. He kept telling her ego come back tomorrow and we will look at it then. My wife was saying, it will only take a mo.ent to which he said "do you not understand, just leave". My wife was mortified that someone, where we were going to spend our hard earned money could be so rude.
I know a lot of people who get reviewed respond to the reviews themselves. So I would love to hear the reasons as to how he cam justify being as rude as he was. Also if he isn't the owner, I would love to have the owners opinions on this post. Such a shame as we had recommended this to many friends and family. Not now!!!!!!!!

Arrived on time having reserved a specific table for 8 that we had chosen two days in advance. We were told the table had been given to a party of 15. The assumed owner quickly became very insulting and told us it was the end of the season, he couldn't be bothered and told us to leave!

Cannot comment on the food but would recommend avoiding (check out Chez Bob or Les Quimperoises .. much better altogether!)

Simple, cheap and finger licking mussles. This place is a staple of Saint Palais. Hanging from the rock with a prime view on the beach, this humble restaurant is a must go.

Food and location good. One of the few places you can eat late in the afternoon as we did. But bad, French style service towards international customers such as slow ordering and not delivering te complete orders. Offcourse French customers were treated the right way!..
