The hostess accommodated me on the porch for a last-minute late dinner. Lovely atmosphere with high quality jazz. Food was so-so but overall experience was quite enjoyable.

My wife and I had the most amazing evening at Chez papa. I have to say it is the best jazz club/restaurant I have ever been to. It was even more pleasant than "Blue Note" in New York. It is super cozy and the food is just awesome. The music, also, is just what you want. If you go, be sure to try the snails as a starter and I highly recommend "duck breast" as the main dish. Also, ask the waiters for a marker and sign somewhere on the wall (if u could find a blank spot)

Overrated. Food was average. Music you will not enjoy as well because it is crowded, packed place and everybody is speaking too loud and make much noise

Excellent atmosphere, lovely food, staff patient with our speaking English.

Fantastic music.

One gentleman (the owner I believe), along with his family I believe, works the whole floor greeting tables and taking care of anything you might need. He moves around the tables as if hurrying would be a sin, but the service and attention never lacks. Do not rush through this meal, enjoy the food, the atmosphere, and the music. If you are on a schedule, you will be frustrated with the pacing of the meal.

Sole was good as was the scallops (though few). We enjoyed the escargot (though many), and the goat cheese and apple. The creme brule was outstanding.

Some would say it was warm inside the restaurant, but I might use the word comfortable or cozy instead.

I'll start by saying that I love a good jazz club, but the ambience here was remarkable, as was the music. The menu, for someone who doesn't eat seafood and can be quite a picky eater, caused me to have my first meeting with escargot. Honestly, it wasn't as scary as it was in my head. If there's a place to try it, it's probably Paris. The wine list was great, and we loved the few bottles we ordered. Make sure to make a reservation, especially on the weekend, or get there in the 7pm hour. This place fills up quickly.
