This is one big rip-off. We rented an auto at the Bastia Airport in Corsica at the beginning of September through Corse Auto Rent alais Enterprise. Of course, we got all inclusive insurance but weren't aware of the 1400 euro deductible. So in the 2nd day of driving the auto, we discover a flat tire and ask to bring the car back to swap out the spare we replaced the flat with - the Corse Auto rental suggested that we do it ourselves because it would be a lot cheaper. However we moving from city to city on a sunday with no repair shops open to swap out the spare that you can't drive faster than 50 km per hour. We decide to bring it back to the airport and receive another auto which we used throughout our vacation. When we returned the car they mentioned that the 1400 reserved from our credit card had been returned. A week later we noticed that Corse Auto had taken out 468 euro to either replace the tire or repair it without any notification suggesting they would do so. Needless to say, I will dispute this with my credit card company but YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED - STAY AWAY - THIS IS ONE BIG RIP-OFF. The office is seedy and the people working there have been converted into bookies. They even look the part. I would give it no stars but I accidentally forgot my wallet in the car we returned and the ground crew was kind enough to locate it when I came back to the parked area. Thanks guys - it's not your fault that you work for some crooks.
