My wife and I stayed for 3 nights in one of the rooms of the beautifully restored/maintained castle, great bathroom and an excellent bed.

Lovely hotel, would stay again: very attentive staff and the restaurant impressed us; delicious! We stayed in the superior room in the mill building; a short walk away from the castle. The room was fine; clean and comfortable. But it was the restaurant, the friendly (English speaking) staff and spa that made our stay. The spa (Spa Pom, next to the castle) was a true treat. The interior is very serene, clean and well refurbished in a beautiful historical building. There is a sauna, steam room and indoor pool with several jets in the pool to massage your back/shoulders/legs. We left all relaxed, and really enjoyed our stay.

The castle and mill were very charming, however our rooms were located in neither but instead in a building between them. Beds were a little too small for two persons and the springs could easily be felt. Bathroom door had windows which could not be covered, giving a free view into the bath. One of the chairs in our room was worn down, however it added to the nice atmosphere of the room.

The Reception, "le Patron" and in fact all the Staff was charming, exceptionally friendly and polite.
They aim to please and succeed in that aim without any flaws.
The diner, served in the rustic water-mill, really was a culinary surprise every night.
Great aperitifs and wines too.
Highly recommended to stay for a couple of days traveling through France.
It is not cheap, but certainly worth every penny. Cannot think of anything to complain about.
If it were not for the distance, we would surely become a regular guests.

One of favourite hotels and restaurants. It feels like you are staying in the home of generous and wealthy friends.
