Having bought a bottle of Joel's Sauvignon at a local supermarket and then had him recommended by friends, we (all 4 of us) paid him a visit arriving just before lunch-time (12 noon). Joel met us and was ever so kind, understanding and exceedingly helpful as he helped us to taste a range of superb wines: Sauvignon, Gamay Rose, Gamay, Cot, etc. He gave us the history (story) of the various wines as well as a description of the 'terroirs' and 'aromas'. Needless to say, we left with 36 bottles of wine, including some exquisite sparkling wine. One of our sons even asked Joel to sign the labels of the bottles - and he did!! every time we come to our house in France, we are sure to revisit him. A true friend in the making.
