The restaurant could also use revamping of the menu ( I suggest to ditch the plates with frites and expand the pizza menu ).

Lovely camp site, amazing amounts of space and surrounded by apple trees....which we used to feed the farm's donkeys, goats, sheep and pig! Very friendly place with beautiful views of the French countryside in all directions.

Lovely pitches with plenty of trees, amazing for kids with the "big animals" farm and the little animals, as well as the kids areas. Would have loved a bigger inner area though, since we got some very cold days.

A great idea is the free bikes provided by the camping, but again many are broken.

If le Prunay would take up these points it would be an outstanding campsite worth the 5 stars. But now, it is just not meeting expectations.

This is an okay place to go. I like the atmosphere, the set up and the idea. The staff is friendly and helpful. But in general they seem to opt for low budget solutions that are really lowering the overall quality of the site. There a few specific drawbacks that need mentioning: the sanitary building is not fitting the campsite. The expansion of campsites is not reflected in the expansion of the sanitary building. The materials used are b-grade resulting in broken showers etc.

We had a great break here this autumn. The site is nice and relaxed with excellent pitches that are beautifully secluded with all sorts of trees including apple and pears around the pitches. All the toilets and showers were really clean although you may have a little walk to get to them depending where you pitch. The best part for me was the lack of lighting around the site at night. The stars were truly amazing without the light pollution.
There's great cycling and walking all around and it's easy to take the dog with you. Walk down to the "Grand animeaux". It’s a field of tame donkeys, goats, sheep and a wild boar sow which you can go into and be with the animals. You're also not far from the grand chateaux of the Loire. Chaumont is only 20mins away.

Ein wunderschöner in die Natur eingebetter Campingplatz der mit sehr viel Liebe geführt wird. Es ist ein sehr Kinderfreundlicher Platz und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Sehr ruhig und Naturbelassen!
