I contacted by phone the Enterprise office at Toulouse airport to ask for clarity. On the phone they explained that status of the car was still not returned in your computer system. He promised to contact Barcelona.
But after this call I called the Enterprise office in Barcelona Airport myself.

They will always try to charge you extra money for something you didn't do. The staff isn't really competent at all. Wouldn't recommend it... ever.

Wouldn't reccomend to my worst enemy.

The staff are very friendly however I got charged with an operation that ended up blocking my credit card for use. The company charged me with a damage on the bumper which I warned at the moment of pickup.

Also in his system the car was not returned. But after a few minutes he "found" the car and confirmed that we returned the car on May 1st.
Still in a fight about the additional amounts.

horrible company. total rip off! do not trust these pitiful liars. Initially they tried to charge me off for more than what I booked for, then I showed my reservation they adjusted the price. After I returned the car, they did not reimburse the caution, even though there was no damage at all and the tank was full!

A word of warning for those wishing a good start to their French holiday and who wish to receive a pleasant, or at least adequate customer service experience. Never, ever, use this pathetic excuse for a car rentql company. I have been renting cars from Toulouse Blagnac airport for over 20 years and I have never experienced such a discourteous and dreadful level of service and attitude from a public facing company. I had booked my car several weeks in advance for a competetive price, however, on arrival these jokers could not provide me with either a car, an alternative, or even a reasoned excuse as to their inability to reserve cars for those who have previously booked them. I was able to secure a cqr from another provider but at a cost of 650 euros. Therefore, instead of the original 300+ Euros for car rental, I ended up paying 980 euros. In addition, I now have to got through all the hassle of getting this appalling company to reimburse my rentql fee plus expenses. So please, if you want a good start to your holidays or business do not use this appalling company.

Staff are nice and courteous but... We returned our car a day before but had additional km. The additional km were 60 EUR! That's a lot for 3 days of rental. So we asked the guy how much it would cost if we would return the car the next day, and he told us it would be cheaper, because the mile limit went up. We asked him if he could mark the car as returned the next day which was 2hr after we returned it and he said he couldn't that we would actually have to return it the next day. Outrageous!!! The guy didn't want to help... Really really bad...

edit -- I talked with the responsible and things got clear. Still, I was not fully informed of this additional charge at the beginning of my purchase. But in this case, I should get my negative comments back.

On April 23rd I rent a car on Toulouse airport.
It was planned to return the car on April 30th at Toulouse airport.
But unfortunately I went ill in Spain and spend 4 nights in hospital. In cooperation with my insurance company we decided to fly back from Barcelona airport. I contact you Enterprise office at Toulouse by phone and it was no problem.
We returned the car on May 1st in the morning, I think about 08:00 at Barcelona Terminal 1 at the first floor of the car return. In front of the Enterprise glass office. A lady was very helpful, she made a copy of our contract, and get 2 trolley for our luggage.
So far so good.
But since a couple of days I see several additional amounts booked on my creditcard, without any notice or explanation.
€31,60, €246,40, €103,20 & €600!!!! without any explanation!

I was hesitant based on reviews, but have been a long-time customer of Enterprise in the past, and this was convenient.
They had a good, new-ish car ready for us. Checkout was quick and smooth. One drawback is they tried to charge us extra before I mentioned my online, confirmed rate, saying I must have gotten a "really good rate" (not really true, it was still >$40/day). They quickly "fixed" this but I can't say that it was an honest mistake.
Otherwise, wasn't overly pressured to buy extra insurance, etc. Big bonus: a working GPS in the car, despite not paying for it (I would have used our phone if needed).
I was also apprehensive about being able to fill up with fuel (easy/close to airport), and the car being overly checked for some minor scratch or dirt. My fears were unfounded as they treated me fairly.
There is a hold charge placed on your credit card, but it was refunded within 3 days. Yes, you have to walk a bit outside the airport: not uncommon for large airports and at least you don't have to wait for a shuttle, etc.

Do NEVER, NEVER rent a car at Enterprise!!

It seems to me that Enterprise is indeed a mess all around the globe.

So, a pretty good experience.

We hadn't booked our rental direct but collected our car from them and we found all the staff extremely professional and courteous. There was a doubt initially about the additional driver being included but in the end the fee was waived/'offered'.

Quelle horreur! Fait attention a ces escrocs! On ne m'a pas rembourse la caution meme s'il n'y avait pas aucun degat et le reservoir d'essence etait plein! Peu importe, je vais vite engager une action en justice.
