Far too few sit down places to have a drink or bite to eat while waiting, 'public' toilets that charge entry, even if you've just used the one sit down restaurant in the station.

It may not be the best station in Paris, but it still beats nearly any station in the US for ease of access. One of the waiting rooms has a book swap--maybe other stations have this in France, but it's a nice touch.

A small terminus station, you do need to pay for the toilets but they are clean. Lots of places to grab a bite to eat for your journey.

Toilets too old and battered to pay 70c for. Stopped at the very overpriced caffé ritazza. My latté tasted foul and service was slow. The station just feels grubby and tired, unlike gare du Nord from where we have just come from.

Despite the pay-in toilets, there's a free open air gym? Because logic.
