Fantastic staff and great location. Rooms are simple but Nice is so cool you shouldn't be spending much time in the room.

The hotel is wonderfully located right near place de massina. It is a smaller hotel but there still is 24 hour front desk. The staff were very helpful multiple tines, from beach towels to helping us find a laundromat. The bed was very comfortable. If I come back to Nice (which I hope to) I will definitely stay at hotel de Verdun again!

We stayed here last May. The location was great, our room was decent size, and we had no complaints about the bathroom. The price was great too. I thought the decor was very typical for modest French hotels, which was fine with us. There isn't any elevator from the street to the first floor where you check in, but the concierge was extremely helpful in carrying up our bags. He made us feel very welcome. We would definitely stay here again!
