Horrible! The room was smelly and the bathroom had mould on the walls. The furniture was ancient. No air conditioning and very noisy outside. Avoid it if you can.

Simple but clean, and perfectly located in the center of Caen, near the harbor and the old castle

However, getting onto the hotel parking lot is a bit of an adventure. The court yard where the parking lots is located is quite the off road experience.

This hotel deserves more than two stars. Newly refurbished rooms, clean, friendly staff and good breakfast. We had a family room for 4 persons. Very nice. Free internet. Very close to the Caen castle and a nice restaurant street. Good prices.

Our first night was awful. They gave is room 24 which is on the bottom floor with next to the elevator and front desk and entrance. It was very noisy, I didn't sleep until past 5am. The room was outdated and the mattress was super cheap. The shower was small and neeses remodelong. They moved our room to a large family room and that was much better. The bed was good, the room was cleaner and on the 4th floor, much quieter. The bathroom was bigger and modern. The location is good and the staff were friendly. I just wish they never put us in the crappy room to begin with. It was a Wednesday night so I doubt that was the only room left.
