Very comfortable, sizable room, but you would expect it given the rate. The gym trainers were very knowledgable and kind, eager to show new exercises and to help. The spa, not as complete as expected but lavish in many ways. A special weekend treat!

Room not ready upon arrival. On top of that, I was informed that the room would even only be available after the official check-in time...
At no point was I able to detect any initiative or coorporation from reception in swapping to similar room from a potential later arrival...

Just exactly what you'd hope for. Takes you back to the 19th century with 21st century comfort. One of those places where you really want to stay in your hotel. Yes it's not filled with action (although we got see tons of Maserati cars here for a rally), however it is a delightful place to recover, recuperate , relax, and enjoy the sea etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here, loved coffee on the terrace, and breakfast is perfect. We were upgraded upon arrival due to our American Express package which included a lovely bottle of champagne and fruit. Check in is swift and easy and the lovely host accompanies you to your room. The only thing I couldn't find was an in room coffee maker which perhaps was hidden somewhere in the many many cupboards. Such a small detail didn't mar our fantastic stay here. We had fun in the spa and lovely pool and the exercise room and fabulous staff there among the best we have ever seen. We have seen plenty! Yes it's all expensive. But there is value here and well worth it!

I didn't stay here but the hotel itself is beautiful. Lovely interior and the swimming pool looks great. Probably one of the best hotels I have ever visited inside wise. We had tea on the terrace and the waiter service was very good and we had a very friendly server who spoke very good English. The dining room is also splendid.

I guess it has seen better days. We went only for a cocktail and we had to wait more than half an hour to get them. Also we had to ask for the bill 3 times. It wasn't too overcrowded..

I've been to a lot of places, but none were as professional, welcoming, polite and helpful as "Hotel du Palais" ;
We came to the southwest of France for vacation, to Surf, and for my mothers birthday.
At the Club desk, we were able to get a last minute table and lounge chairs to enjoy the day!
The views are Breathtaking ! And the food is AMAZING!
But that's not all, I was amazed on how well everyone works together here, the people working here all work together to make everyone as happy and as satisfied as possible!

The Hotel du Palais went BEYOND expectations and I will definitely be coming back!
