Great location in the center of town. Very small rooms (we had 3 in one room and literally had no place to put luggage). Friendly staff who spoke mostly French. Expensive breakfast, no parking.

Schon das 3. Mal hier. Gute Lauflage zur Innenstadt und Kathedrale. Einrichtung typisch Ibis. Parken auf der Strasse oder Tiefgarage etwas umständlich.

Quite close to the old town with friendly staff. Parking was no problem with a motorcycle, car parking was a bit more limited.

We have used this hotel for a few years now on our way to France. It is a very nice hotel and it offers what you can expect from an Ibis. This goes for the food and for the rooms. Service is pretty good. My two year old daughter even got some presents from the nice lady at the reception. It is within walking distance from the centre but not in the centre. So no busy streets outside.
Last year we had one complaint (they booked our room double so suddenly other people came into our room), but that was solved to our satisfaction.
Breakfastbuffet is a good start of the day before you continue your journey.
What I also like is that you can get closed parking. That way you can park your car and leave all your stuff in without having to worry about people being more than interested in what is in your car.
All in all this hotel always is a nice start of our holiday and we are looking forward going there again this year.

Basic Ibis hotel with all your expect. Good level of cleanliness and decent breakfast. Local parking and a good quiet location within a few minutes walk of the downtown area.

13.90 euros pour la formule Plat du Jour + Dessert : c'est CHER pour le standard proposé, à savoir escalope de dinde + frites et tartelette au chocolat ; sinon avec entrée 16.90 au total : salade de concombres crème,
Je trouve que c'est un manque d'originalité du menu et on cumule l'excès de glucides ( Calculez l'indice glycémique des aliments, sinon vos clients vont devenir gras et obèses ). Le chef ne met aucun légume, ni fruit, ni crudités au menu.
En plus, du maïs pop-corn en amuse-gueule lors de l'apéro !

I am currently here and have stayed at 3 and 4 star hotels. They have been friendly, helpful in making suggestions and accommodating. They truly try to follow if "we can't fix your problem in 15 minutes, it is on us." Metz is a charming city. This hotel is quiet and a little distance from the train station, but it is very easy to get too by bus. It is a great place got home base while visiting France. They gladly stored my luggage when I went off for a day or two. I started to feel like home. I would say I would come back again and I have.

J'aime les calories, vive le futur diabète.... 13,90 euros pour juste cela, il vaut rester à la maison ou aller ailleurs.
