The staff are very helpful and courteous. The room was very comfortable and nicely furnished with coffee/tea-making facilities not often found in French hotels. Plenty of drawer space but little space for hanging clothes and only 3 hangers , one of which had a bar for trousers, so more would have been good.
The breakfast buffet was excellent with a large range of high quality foods and drinks.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Good location but living on it's past glories. In need of upgrading. Breakfast very expensive. The lift is a gem. What is it with French receptionists anyway?

Don't ever change the ambience of this lovely hotel! We adored it, from the quaint lift to the quirky keys. We enjoyed everything about this hotel - breakfast, bedroom, décor, courtyard. It's close to everything, friendly staff, jazz on a Thursday evening which attracts a good crowd. We'll definitely make an effort to stay there again. Especially liked the Ernest Hemingway bar.

Nice little picnic organised in a minute in the garden by the nice maître d'hotel. It was charming.

This is just off the tourist strip, so a bit quieter. You are just outside out of the old quarter, and along the the beautiful jardins and the waterways.

A grand old ( if a bit tired) hotel in a fantastic location. The rooms are comfortable, but not very modern. Super comfortable bed.

I loved the old world ambience of this lovely hotel. Don't change a thing, but pay more attention to keeping the carpets clean in the bedrooms. Helpful staff. Lovely breakfast on the terrace and in the courtyard garden.
