A nice hotel, excellent location, less than 10 minute walk from train station, 5 minute walk into Collioure. We had a balcony with sun loungers, the pool and jacuzzi gave lovely views of the mountains. Service was excellent and the buffet breakfast was very good. We will return.

For the price, I expected a lot more. We paid just shy of €1000 for a week in a self-catered apartment with no breakfast. For this I would have expected either a much bigger, higher spec apartment in a better location, or better services and facilities.
As it was the apartment was very pokey - you couldn't move without bumping into a door unless you were an expert at ballet pirouettes.
The apartment is across the street from the hotel reception where you check in. We were given no assistance with our bags despite having a lot of luggage and it being up 2 flights of stairs (no lift).
On the surface it looked OK, but then you realise everything is plastic, polyester or vinyl. I didn't feel comfortable touching anything without lining it with a towel.
Wifi was TERRIBLE - cut out every 30 seconds.
The description said toiletries were provided, but this was just some cheap all-in-one hair and body wash installed in the tiny shower. No hand soap or washing up liquid in the kitchen unless you PAY for a cleaning kit.
There were warnings on the info pack provided at check in and on the advanced email details that you have to clean the apartment and leave it as you found it or pay €100 for a cleaning service - and even then it wouldn't cover the kitchen, which you had to clean yourself. This was a concern as we had to leave early on our day of check out and we didn't want to be fined. It turned out you only needed to clean the kitchen (which is impossible unless you PAY for their cleaning kit), but I couldn't help wondering if they leave that in their info pack to induce additional revenue from guests.
Our towels were not due to be changed at all throughout the week. They complied with a sigh when we requested it.
It seemed the hotel had identified every possible way to get additional fees from customers, including: charging for basic cleaning equipment that should be standard, parking (€100 per week when you can park for free on the street), final cleaning fee of €100 which is not actually necessary, and checking an inventory that covers even the number of pegs and coathangers before you can leave for which they will retain a €600 deposit if anything is missing. The whole process - despite being administered pleasantly by the staff - has an undertone of complete lack of trust and confidence in their guests who they are trying to squeeze every last cent from.
After seeing another review that said they were made to feel like criminals we attempted to cancel our reservation. Despite this being over a month from our arrival date, they would not do so without charging €300 which felt entirely unreasonable even if it satisfied the letter of the small print.
Would not recommend and will not return.

A very clean, cheery, well located hotel. We spent several nights here, an easy walk into the old part of Collioure town. The rooftop pool, jacuzzi and decks were all redone last winter, and are very, very nice. Am not sure what it will be like during the summer vacation season, but in May we found it to be not overly busy and the room rates very reasonable. We will definitely return.

lovely place to stay at Collioure. clean and well equipped room was impressive with nice view to a french town on the hill.
