I had a very nice stay, staff very friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and airy, buffet breakfast has a good choice.

Well situated near a few restaurants and around the corner from a park. The hotel itself is dated but in a grand old style, great if you like that kind of thing. Rooms spacious but again dated, especially the bathroom/toilet. Breakfast was disappointing - most items had run out and the receptionist only popped in to make herself a coffee - no staff seemed available. Bonus marks for the hotel being doggy friendly though. Overall a comfortable night's stay, worth considering for an unexpected overnight in Calais like us.

We've stayed here a few times now. Initially we were taken in by its dated charm and the room rate was very competitive as it includes breakfast. It seems to have had a recent change of management and breakfast costs extra. For the full price of room plus two breakfasts (additional €12 per person) it's definitely no longer worth the money. The hotel looks like it was last updated 20 years ago. The rooms are hot and stuffy with no air conditioning. It's such a shame - it's such a grand building and if it was given a refurb it could be really good. I'm afraid we'll be staying elsewhere the next time we are in Calais. On the plus side it is centrally located. Bars are restaurants are within strolling distance. The beach is a 10-15 minute walk away. There is ample free parking in the street outside the hotel.

A beautiful hotel with a classic French style, within walking distance of all the sights in Calais. Rooms are large and comfortable and staff are very friendly and helpful.

If you are tired of city life, this hotel could be one of the best choices. I'm now in the room at the very end of corridor on the ground. it makes me feel comfy. and it has a view facing a little garden. The lobby, room and the hall for breakfast, tableaux on the wall etc everything like an old movie.
마치 촬영장 같이 예쁘네요. 슬리퍼가 없으니 필요하면 가져가세요^^ 가격 효용 떠나서 예쁩니다.

On arrival was asked if we wanted to park in the hotel car park £10 per night, not necessary as we parked outside the hotel
The staff member tried to frighten us by saying that the car might be broken into and our valuables stolen but the cars parked outside were perfectly safe, don't waste money by parking in their park.

Lovely foyer, first class furniture, shabby chic.
Room was very small with too much furniture.
Bed very comfortable, room very clean
Separate toilet, which was loose from the floor.
Didn't eat breakfast which was 12euros each, plenty of bars offering le petit dejunier at half that cost.
