I have stayed in a number of places throughout the years and cannot emphasize how disappointing this hotel is compared to the photos online. The rooms are musty and smell like fish, the closets are broken and filthy and the bathroom is repulsive. On top of that, Linda (the concierge) was by far the rudest, most off-putting and insolent, unhappy woman I have ever met. There was no reason for her to act as though she were a drill sergeant interrogating prisoners or something--she was completely out of line and for no reason at all! You would think that to make up for the shabby accommodations, they might try to make up for it with service--not so here. Avoid this place at all costs--La Turbie itself is a wonderful town, but steer clear of this place. They have a restaurant--and the whole time we were there we never saw anyone eating there. There are plenty of other places in the area that offer delicious food and fabulous service.

Refused to serve us at 7.30 pm, though the place was about 1/3 full, presumably because we were not locals.

We were in for the Monaco GP and this stay was the icing on the cake. Perfect service and attention to detail in every aspect. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very nice. Linda went above and beyond. I had lost my cell phone in a taxi that we picked up in Monaco. Linda made several calls including many taxi companies and different police agencies until she handed me my phone back. Above and beyond in every way, thank you Linda!
